Frequently Asked Questions

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and developmental delays build skills in communication, social interaction, learning, and daily living. It focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors and reducing behaviors that may interfere with learning or independence.

Who can benefit from ABA therapy?

ABA therapy is most commonly used for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but it can also support children with other developmental challenges such as ADHD, speech delays, and behavioral concerns.

What services do you provide?

At Frontier ABA Services, we offer:

  • In-home ABA therapy

  • School-based support

  • Parent training and coaching

  • Telehealth services

  • Social skills training

  • Generalization programs (helping children use learned skills in real-life settings)

How do I get started?

The process is simple:

  1. Contact us through our website or by phone.

  2. Intake & assessment – A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct an initial assessment.

  3. Personalized treatment plan – We create a program tailored to your child’s unique needs.

  4. Therapy begins with ongoing support, progress monitoring, and parent involvement.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! Frontier ABA Services works with many major insurance providers. Coverage may vary depending on your plan. Our intake team will help you navigate the insurance process and verify your benefits.

How many hours of ABA therapy does my child need?

The number of therapy hours depends on your child’s individual needs and assessment results. Some children benefit from 10–15 hours per week, while others may need 20–40 hours. Your BCBA will recommend the best plan.

Where do sessions take place?

We provide therapy in multiple settings, including:

  • Your home

  • School (with permission)

  • Community settings (parks, libraries, etc.)

  • Telehealth (virtual parent training and support)

Counties Currently Served:

San Gabriel Valley, Orange County, and Los Angeles

What is parent training?

Parent training is a key part of ABA therapy. Our BCBAs coach parents on strategies to manage behavior, encourage communication, and generalize skills outside of therapy sessions.

How is progress measured?

Progress is tracked using data collected during every session. Your BCBA will review this data regularly and update goals as your child grows and learns. Parents receive frequent updates and are always part of the decision-making process.
